We were invited by Dash to cover their Inaugural Conference in London. They offered to pay for our team’s flights, hotels, etc. from the U.S. to London but we turned it down and covered the travel expenses ourselves because we wanted to be able to say whatever we want in our coverage videos and not be obligated to have to say positive things or be biased towards Dash because we accepted monies from them.
David Fong: We’re here in London at the inaugural Dash conference what do you think?
Leon Fu: This is quite impressive for the first Dash… I believe this is the first Dash conference. We were invited by the Dash team to come here, to cover their conference and we’re looking forward to it. Dash is right now the fifth-largest currency right now and we’re anxious to see what they’re up to.
I did meet Brian Taylor last January in Miami, that was the first time I had met him. At that time, he was the Director of Finance, and now he is the CEO of Dash so we’re here to try to find out what’s happening with the team, what’s happening earlier.
David Fong: I spoke with one of their core team members Tong Fa, and he just shared a lot of the programs that they’re just trying to outreach to the community and develop some more mindshare about Dash. We’re here find out more and get you the information to see what’s going on with Dash.
Leon Fu: Okay, that’s cool.
