Hey guys, Texas Miner and today, when I’m be showing you, is how to install the ZClassic.
So what we’ll be doing is switching over to ZCash real quick before the fork and one of those things that you’re going to need is a desktop wallet really exciting stuff for this Bitcoin privacy coin coming out. I just want to do a quick little tutorial on how to get you up to speed so here we go.
Okay first off, you’re gonna go to the link in the description and download this zip file. Once you have the zip file downloaded, I downloaded it and saved it to my desktop.
You’re going to unzip it and that one zip file will give you these two ZClassic windows installer and the config file you’re gonna run the installer and that is going to generate in your app.
You have these instructions as well but what that will do is that’s going to generate the file and in this location, for you to drop your config file too.
So I’m gonna a shortcut to get there once you run the windows installer is “appdata%”, enter. And that will show you your folders right there and your once you do that you’re going to drag this config file into ZClassic and replace this file with the destination right.
There’s one step that you might have to do before you run the wallet and that’s installed Java. Just go to their free download and make sure that you have Java installed.
Once you have your Java updated or installed then you just run your wallet and let it update read the instructions very crucial you want to only send funds when it’s fully synced send a small amount. At first to test it out and properly close out the wallet.
